Growing up in Northern Virginia, I was always drawn to photography. What started out as a passion of mine, suddenly became my biggest motivation to leave my corporate job as a government contractor in Washington, D.C. Sitting behind a desk, in a office, wasn’t my path and I knew I needed a big change. That change happened as soon as I met my then boyfriend, now husband, Scott, and I quickly moved down to Charlottesville, Virginia to close the gap on our long distance relationship. It was then that I decided to start over and finally pursue my love of photography.
